This privacy policy is provided by us First Vineyard, Inc. This Privacy Policy includes examples of the types of nonpublic personal information we collect and the kind of companies with whom we may share such information. These examples are illustrative and should not be considered a complete inventory of our information collection, use and sharing practices by us. In addition, you may have other privacy protections under some state laws.

Please note, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your independent relationships with other companies who may, from time to time, offer you products and services in conjunction with First Vineyard. Such companies’ privacy policies will govern how they collect, use and disclose personal information that you choose to allow them to access.



Our commitment to privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information collection and sharing practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The information we collect:

In order to provide you with the products and services you have requested, to service the First Vineyard Prepaid MasterCard® (issued by The Bancorp Bank), and as we deem appropriate to determine your eligibility for products and services, we collect or reserve the right to collect the following types of nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. In order to complete your order as well as comply with Federal Regulations, the types of personal information collected at these pages are:

          Information we receive from you (or that is provided to us on your behalf), including, but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, email address, Credit Card Information, Bank Account Information, Drivers License Number, Social Security Number and date of birth;

          Information about your transactions with us, with our affiliates, or with others, such as Account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and Card usage.


The way we use information:

We use the information you provide about yourself when ordering your First Vineyard MasterCard®. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary by law and to complete any orders you may have placed with us.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive as well as provide customers the opportunity to receive information regarding cardholder updates, special products and promotions. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties unless required by law.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive updates on our new products and services.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, unless required by law, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our commitment to data security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We also restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees whom we determine have a legitimate business purpose to access such information in connection with the provision of products or services to you. Our commitment to children's privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

How you can access or correct your information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by logging into your account at http://www.firstvineyard.com and clicking on the account management section. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Information regarding former customers

We disclose nonpublic personal information about former Card customers with inactive Cards only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we whichever one is making changes, will provide current customers with a revised notice that describes the new practices.

Disclosures for joint marketing services

We may disclose all of the nonpublic personal information described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf including financial companies such as banks and insurance companies; non-financial companies, such as direct marketers and mail houses; and others, such as membership organizations and others with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

Disclosures permitted by law

We may disclose all of the nonpublic personal information described above, as permitted by law. For example, we may use affiliates or vendors to perform services for us, such as providing customer assistance, processing your Account, preparing your account statements and maintaining or developing software for us. We also may disclose information in response to requests from law enforcement agencies or state and federal banking regulators.

We will disclose information to third parties about your Card or the transfers you make:

(i) Where it is necessary for completing transfers, or

(ii) In order to verify the existence and condition of your Card for a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant, or

(iii) In order to comply with government agency or court orders, or

(iv) If we believe it is necessary to determine if your Card is being used by an unauthorized user or in a fraudulent manner, or

(v) To our agents, auditors and collection attorneys; or

(vi) As permitted under applicable state and Federal privacy laws; or

(vii) If you give the us your written permission.
